IMPLANT REFERRALS
In partnership with Specialist Dental Services your practice can offer Advanced Implant & Aesthetic Restorative care to your valuable patients, whilst keeping their loyalty and gratitude.
Many colleagues have found that referring to us has been a positive experience for them in many ways. Our treatment philosophy is based on patient-centred outcomes and we critically evaluate our outcomes.
Implants will dominate our profession for a foreseeable future. More and more patients are asking for implants as a solution for replacement of missing teeth. Whilst osseointegration has been predictably established, the emphasis now is shifting towards aesthetic outcome. Unlike, conventional replacements, implant restorations have to recreate both gingival and dental aesthetics. The days of replacing teeth with unsightly implant exposures, gingival disharmonies, and inappropriate tooth positions, are well over.
Achieving ideal aesthetic outcome in implant restorations requires a meticulous approach. From the outset, the different stages of treatment are important. A thorough pre-operative assessment, 3-dimensional surgical placement, aesthetic hard tissue grafting, a measured soft tissue handling during second stage surgery, soft tissue sculpting with a provisional restoration, and finally utilising a technique which idealises the definitive restoration – all are vitally important in ensuring an optimal outcome. We use this approach with all our patients, to ensure an optimal outcome, time and again.
The cases in our gallery demonstrate how this approach can produce natural looking restorations, which your patients will be delighted with and thank you for.
In many cases the patient can ‘walk out’ with fixed teeth and have the treatment completed in a few months. We employ techniques that help minimise patient morbidity without compromising an exceptional aesthetic outcome. Therefore, we ask that you always consider prompt referrals before removing any teeth, where possible.
We encourage our referring colleagues to get involved in the restoration of implants. This approach has proven successful with several colleagues and has helped raise their profile besides providing a direct financial benefit.
We are happy to discuss training and mentoring opportunities in case you wish to extend your career into implant dentistry.
