Raj qualified at Barts and The London, Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry, after which he completed his vocational training in East Anglia.  In his pursuit of post-graduate education he worked as a senior house officer at University Hospital Wales, Cardiff, where he gained further experience in restorative dentistry , as well as working in the oral and maxillo-facial surgery department. He also enjoyed teaching oral surgery to under-graduate students.  During this time he completed his examinations for his Membership to Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) with the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He enjoyed the provision of a general dental care within a community setting after which he secured a place for specialist training in fixed and removable Prosthodontics at The Royal London Dental Hospital.  He is currently within the last six months of his specialist training, whilst also being involved in undergraduate and post-graduate teaching.

He has a special interest in removable prosthodontics and conservative dentistry, with an eye to providing comprehensive aesthetic and functional dental care options. In addition to these, Raj has a particular interest in dental implantology and preventative dentistry.  In the pursuit of maintaining the highest standards, he regularly attends national and international dental meetings, as well as continuing professional development courses.
Outside of work, Raj enjoys various forms of motorsport and regularly attending the gym.
